I participated in a Rules of Origin Training, held in November 2023 by Anna and I can say it was a captivating and useful experience. She held a detailed presentation of the rules of nonpreferential and preferential origin, very useful both to those who want to acquire the basic customs knowledge in this field and also to the customs professionals who want to check if their procedures comply with the laws and regulations.
The presentation was followed by a Q&A session in which Anna answered in a detailed and concise manner to all of the questions, no matter their complexity. As well, her answers were tailored to the level of knowledge of each participant.

Anna brings in-depth expertise and insight to the opaque world of customs. When we set up CBAMBOO, we needed to understand how carbon border taxes like CBAM operate within a wider cross-border framework. Right from the start, Anna has been our essential guide to the world of trade and customs. Thanks to her unrivalled network in Brussels, London and around the world, she is always plugged into the latest policy developments, alerting us to upcoming developments ahead of the competition.

The training on rules of origin was conducted proficiently with pertinent case examples. Anna elucidated the concepts of preferential and non-preferential rules and their associated criteria. Moreover, I appreciated the practical scenarios that demonstrated how to access assistance when exporting products and seeking preferential treatment.

I followed the Rules of Origin simplified training recently. The training really helped in re-activating my prior knowledge in Rules of Origin. Furthermore, it gave me a useful method to follow when determining whether goods can qualify for preferential origin or not. Anna navigated us through the tools that are available online and also went in depth with practical questions asked by the audience.
I would definitely recommend this training to people who want to freshen up their knowledge on Rules of Origin or are completely new in the topic.

At Avogel we import Medicines, Medical Devices, Health Foods and Food Supplements, Anna was excellent help to our company and guided us perfectly in a very professional manner through the ‘rules of origin’ and the ‘classification of our goods’

The Commodity Codes course was fantastic and I learned a huge amount!
I thought how interactive it was made a huge difference as Commodity Codes need to be a very hands on experience when learning about them. There is such a huge amount of information that it can be very confusing and hard to interpret but the course made it very easy to understand.

Dr Jerzewska provided excellent moderation at the launch event of the 2022 Honda Europe Environment Report. Her diligent preparation and detailed subject knowledge enabled her to chair an insightful, dynamic and challenging panel discussion on how global trade is key to delivering Europe’s sustainability agenda. We would not hesitate to ask her to moderate future Honda events.

Trade and Borders offered us expert advice and guidance for dealing with ongoing Customs Checks, Classifications and Border Force issues. The extensive knowledge they bring, provides us with clarity in our dealings with HMRC, where we otherwise felt vulnerable and lacked the required expertise in-house.
